James is an Associate in the Corporate Insurance Group in London who advises clients in the insurance sector on corporate, commercial, reinsurance and regulatory matters.
James joined the firm in 2016 as a trainee solicitor. In addition to working in the London office, James spent 6 months with Clyde & Co's Corporate Insurance Group in the Middle East based in Dubai, broadening his knowledge of the international insurance market.
James has a wide variety of experience across the complete breadth of corporate insurance practice including M&A, distribution arrangements, joint ventures, legacy reinsurance transactions and complex regulatory advice. In all cases James is able to apply a deep knowledge of the insurance sector in order to deliver pragmatic and commercially focused advice.
