Will has been practising since 2013, predominantly in insurance litigation with a focus on product liability dust disease claims involving asbestos and silica. He has acted on behalf of major manufacturers of asbestos products and engineered stone products.
Will has developed extensive knowledge regarding the unique issues that arise in legacy/latent claims where the time between exposure and injury may span decades. He has defended hundreds of dust disease claims across the Queensland courts and the Dust Diseases Tribunal of New South Wales.
In addition to defending dust disease claims Will is experienced in identifying potential contributors and has successfully obtained litigated and un-litigated recoveries on behalf of clients.
Will has also advised insurers on general liability claims involving novel injuries and circumstances, and subrogated recoveries relating to landlord policies, personal and commercial property damage and motor vehicle property damage claims.
