Charlie Cowan advises major carrier-side firms on issues regarding insurance coverage in connection with property, commercial general liability claims, FIDO, and related matters. He counsels insurance and banking clients in coverage, data privacy, financial crime, and other compliance matters.
Charlie’s extensive background includes working with large, international insurance firms. He served in a variety of roles, including but not limited to: Senior Vice President & General Counsel – International Region, Assistant General Counsel, Worldwide, Divisional Assistant Vice President of Liability Claims, and Manager, Investigations of Financial Crime and Compliance. Charlie is licensed as a lawyer in the United States and as a Solicitor in England & Wales. He has worked in the US and London insurance markets for more than two decades and is a certified GDPR practioner.
