Elizabeth is an associate who practises in a wide range of insurance litigation fields, including commercial disputes, professional negligence, subrogation matters and personal injury matters. With an extensive advocacy experience, she has appeared before administrative tribunals, the Court of Justice and the Court of King’s Bench in Calgary and Edmonton (Alberta).
She obtained her Juris Doctor from the University of Alberta and summered at the Office of Parliamentary Counsel, before completing her articles at a boutique litigation firm in Calgary. Prior to joining Clyde & Co, Elizabeth was a legal counsel at a multinational insurance company, practising civil and commercial litigation.
Constantly striving to serve her clients’ business needs, she follows a focused approach to find practical, efficient and cost-effective solutions. In addition, Elizabeth is fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese and is a member of the Federation of Asian Canadian Lawyers’ Western Chapter.
In her spare time, she enjoys volunteering at the Calgary Chinese Community Service Association, among others, as well as honing her percussion skills and exploring the mountains with her dog.
