Emily is an Associate in the Manchester office with experience in both contentious Employment Tribunal proceedings and non-contentious employment law issues.
Emily is an Associate in the Employment Team in our Manchester office, having been with Clyde & Co since September 2016.
Emily deals with defending Employment Tribunal proceedings, including unfair and wrongful dismissal, discrimination and whistleblowing claims. With regards to non-contentious work, Emily has experience in advising employers on a range of employment issues, from Data Subject Access Requests to employment processes including disciplinary, grievance and sickness absence procedures.
In addition to Tribunal and advisory work, Emily has involvement with the preparation of policies and procedures and contracts such as consultancy and settlement agreements.
Prior to qualifying into the Employment Team, Emily gained experience in healthcare litigation and corporate crime focusing on health and safety and fatal driving incidents.
Emily is part of the Employment Team's Public Sector Group due to her background in police work and her current pro bono role sitting on a local college's Board of Governors.
