Tina’s principle areas of practice include general aviation disputes and crashes (including fixed and rotor wing, drones, as well as hot air balloons and gyrocopters) for private/commercial carriage and/or domestic/international carriers, airlines (including passenger, baggage and cargo claims, and advising on conditions of carriage and airline policies), major aircraft losses, subrogation, airport and ground handling liability, contractual disputes, and insurance and reinsurance policy coverage (including war risks).

Tina handles multi-jurisdictional disputes including those within Africa, Central and South America, Europe (including the UK), the Caribbean and also litigation in the United States and Canada. She also has experience of handling claims in Taiwan, Malaysia, Russia and the Middle East.

She has been named in the Rising Stars Expert Guide (aviation category) from 2017 to 2020.

Tina studied at Girton College, University of Cambridge and graduated with a first class degree in law. She qualified in 2007 and her work concentrates on aviation law and claims.

  • Advising insurers and reinsurers on subrogation actions, including those of high value, in Africa, the Caribbean, Central and South America, Europe, Texas and Quebec
  • Handling claims and advising on EU and international policy requirements for two major Spanish airlines
  • Handling major airline losses in Diyarbakir, Khartoum and Sharm El Sheikh
  • Advising War Risks insurers as a result of incidents in Libya and Mozambique
  • Advising reinsurers on AVS103 (50/50 claims settlement provision)
  • Advising aviation entities including aircraft operators and security providers on risk management and contractual issues.
