Iván joined Clyde & Co Madrid in June 2023, after developing his professional career in the Insurance and Reinsurance department of a leading international law firm.
Iván has experience advising Spanish and foreign insurers and reinsurers in domestic and international litigation, as well as in non-contentious cases related to directors and officers matters, financial lines, professional indemnity, corporate governance, cyber risks, large risks, warranty and indemnity insurance, reinsurance, loss of profit and surety insurance.
He is a member of the Madrid Bar Association. As for his academic background, Iván holds a Law Degree from the Complutense University of Madrid, with postgraduate studies through the Master’s Degree in Access to the Legal Profession at the Autonomous University of Madrid. He is also dedicated to legal research and the publication of doctrinal articles, which led him to obtain the first prize in the XI Edition of the Young Researchers Competition (Premio Jóvenes Investigadores), organised by the Autonomous University of Madrid.
