Full Profile
Jorge joined Clyde & Co's Madrid team in September 2017, after spending his previous career years at the Litigation & Arbitration department of a major international law firm and at a litigation-focused Boutique. He has experience acting before all sorts of Courts and arbitration tribunals and institutions, including all stages of national court litigation —first instance, mid-level and Supreme Court— and acting at all kinds of procedural hearings and trials, conducting cross examinations and oral arguments.
He focuses on commercial and civil disputes, along with white collar criminal proceedings. His main areas of expertise are construction, industrial projects and insurance-related litigation, and he has a strong background in corporate and shareholder disputes. He works both nationally and internationally.
His academic background includes graduating in Law from CEU-San Pablo University in Madrid, undertaking journalism studies and obtaining an LLM in International Legal Practice from IE Law School in 2012. He has also undertaken complementary Business and Management studies at prestigious institutions such as Yale University (2006) and IE Business School (2012).
