Judith is a specialist healthcare lawyer and advises on a broad range of healthcare practitioners in regulatory and disciplinary investigations. Judith also has significant experience in inquests, advising individuals, healthcare providers and organisations and is regularly instructed in complex and high profile matters.
Judith regularly appears before the MPTS, GDC and other healthcare regulators representing practitioners facing a broad range of allegations. Judith is a solicitor-advocate (obtaining her higher rights of advocacy in 2014) and regularly conducts her own advocacy.
Judith was previously an in-house lawyer at the GDC advising the fitness to practise department and regularly acting as the GDC advocate in fitness to practise committee hearings.
Judith advises medical and dental practitioners in disputes with NHS England and in CQC investigations.
Judith is instructed in complex and high profile inquests advising both individuals and a broad range of healthcare providers/organisations including NHS Trusts, care homes, specialist mental health units and private healthcare providers. Judith has previously represented healthcare practitioners in criminal investigations, including advising at the police station to Crown Court trial.
