Emma is an Australian qualified lawyer with a particular interest in private equity exposures.
Emma advises insurers and their insureds in a variety of complex, multi-jurisdictional matters, often involving combinations of civil, regulatory and criminal proceedings and investigations. Emma’s main areas of expertise are advising on coverage issues and disputes relating to financial institutions, D&O liability and warranty & indemnity notifications and claims. Emma has experience advising both insurers and policyholders on coverage and related disputes, as well as providing insurance policy wordings advice.
Emma spent 12 months on secondment at AIG in its claims team managing a variety of FI and D&O notifications and claims.
