Jacob joined Clyde & Co as an associate in 2021, after completing both summer and full articles with the firm.
His practice is focused on commercial and civil litigation, including professional liability claims, construction disputes, and insurance defence. Jacob has appeared before the Provincial and Supreme Court of British Columbia. He has also appeared with senior counsel at arbitration and regulatory proceedings.
Jacob obtained a Bachelor of Law Enforcement Studies from the Justice Institute of British Columbia in 2017. He then obtained his Juris Doctor from the Peter A. Allard School of Law at the University of British Columbia in 2020. While attending law school, Jacob concentrated on litigation-related courses.
In addition to his practice at Clyde & Co, Jacob is a member of the Canadian Armed Forces and a volunteer with Lions Bay Search and Rescue. Outside of the office he enjoys skiing, rock climbing and other outdoor activities.

Lions Bay Search and Rescue
A non-profit society which is one of 79 recognized volunteer SAR groups in BC. Lions Bay Search and Rescue responds to calls for service 24/7/365 both within its territory and on mutual-aid calls throughout the province. Jacob joined Lions Bay Search and Rescue in 2016 and has completed additional training as a ground search team leader and a rope rescue technician. He had previously been a member of Prince Rupert Ground Search and Rescue.
