Chaya is an associate in the Dubai office with experience advising on conventional and Islamic banking and finance transactions across the Middle East and in the United Kingdom.
Chaya joined the MEA Banking and Finance practice in August 2020 upon admission as a Solicitor of England & Wales.
Chaya advises both borrowers and lenders on conventional and Islamic finance transactions across a variety of sectors, with clients based in both the MEA region and the United Kingdom, with background experience in construction, corporate and M&A matters.
Chaya takes a keen interest in pro bono work and is a strong supporter of diversity and inclusion in the firm. She also sits on the management board of Big Voice London, a London-based legal youth and social mobility charity.

Advising noon on its AED 1.23 billion (USD 335.2 million) acquisition of Namshi from Emaar Malls.
Advising an Abu Dhabi based developer on all aspects of an AED 1.6 billion refinancing in relation to proposed hotel and residential developments.
Advising on multi-million dollar, multi-currency syndicated term facility extended by a syndicate comprising local, international and overseas banks, to a UAE-based group in the tobacco sector.
Advising a large UAE hotels group on an AED 900 million refinancing and associated security arrangements.
Acting for SHUAA-led consortium for a debt buyout of Stanford Marine Group’s AED 1.13 billion (USD 308 million) facility.
