Sarah was admitted in 1985 and has many years experience of handling complex property related insurance disputes. Before joining Clyde & Co in January 2015, she maintained a professional indemnity practice handling complex claims against solicitors, surveyors and accountants. Claims against construction related professionals were also a feature of her work and compliment the property work which often involves construction related claims.
Sarah has acted for a broad range of insurer clients across the property liability and construction arena and has handled claim arising out of fires, floods, landships, escapes of water. She regularly advises on the policy cover.
She represented the mechanical and electrical contractor in the House of Lords case of Co-operative Retail Services Ltd -v- Taylor Young Partnership Ltd 2002 1 WLR 1419.
