Her experience includes coverage, monitoring and defence in matters of industrial risks, political risks, directors and officers liability, reinsurance, professional liability (lawyers, brokers,...), art and species, new technologies, data security and fraud.

Sophie has developed a solid experience relating to anti-money laundering and counter terrorist financing.

In addition, Sophie advises clients on both French and European regulatory matters involving cross-border insurance and reinsurance services, branch business across the EU and compliance with French and EU law provisions.

Sophie is a member of both the Arbitration Commission and the Arbitration Committee of the CEFAREA ARIAS France and was actively involved in the drafting of their new arbitration rules. She coached the Paris I Pantheon – Sorbonne team for the Willem C Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot for four years.

Sophie is admitted to both the Paris and the New York Bars. She holds a Master degree in International Trade Law from the University of Paris I Panthéon – La Sorbonne as well as an LL.M. from Cornell Law School (Ithaca, New York). She graduated with a LLB in English and French law from King’s College London and the University of Paris I Pantheon – Sorbonne.
