Frank Hughes is a partner in our Glasgow office. He has extensive experience in insurer-related litigation.

Frank specialises in complex, large loss cases, emerging risks, and cross border disputes. He has litigated in the Supreme Court.

Frank is an author of an online resource on Scottish court procedure and has acted as an expert witness in solicitors’ negligence cases.

An accomplished speaker, Frank has presented nationally and internationally on insurance-related subjects.

For many years, he tutored judicial review at Glasgow University. He has mentored disadvantaged legal students.

Frank has held several prestigious memberships, including:
- The regulatory committee of the Law Society of Scotland (LSS)
- UK Forum Of Insurance Lawyers (FOIL)’s national executive committee, and
- Former Chair of FOIL Scotland.
