Having been based in Germany, Cornelia has significant experience of representing national and international clients in litigious matters before arbitral tribunals and German state courts. She has profound knowledge in handling disputes on marine, international trade and general commercial matters and has acted in a variety of complex, high value and multi-jurisdictional disputes.
In addition, she advises clients on both contentious and non-contentious matters relating to a wide range of dry shipping and marine insurance matters. While focussing on commercial and shipping work, Cornelia also advises on employment and insolvency matters and assists in the review, drafting and negotiating of contracts including commercial contracts, shipbuilding contracts and contracts relating to construction and engineering projects.
