Maria is a qualified practising Advocate, advising clients on a wide range of corporate and commercial matters with a focus on intellectual property, company formation, company secretarial services, and Government liaison amongst others. She has worked with Clyde & Co Tanzania since 2014. She has an LL.B from Tumaini University and a Post- Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Law School of Tanzania. She is a member of the Tanganyika Law Society and the East Africa Law Society.

• Advising various clients on Intellectual Property matters as well as preparing the relevant documents for registration of Trade & Service Mark(s) in Tanzania Mainland and Zanzibar. 
• Liaising  and being the main point of contact of the Business Registrations and Licensing Agency (BRELA) and all other Government agencies and institutions. 
• Advising and assisting various local and international companies to establish a business in Tanzania.
• Advising Amec Foster Wheeler Inc, Environmental & Infrastructure on establishing a business in Tanzania. 
• Advising and assisting Halliburton International GmbH with organising its statutory filings at BRELA. 
• Assisting Syngenta Tanzania Limited with organising its statutory filings at BRELA. 
• Advising and assisting Songas Limited with company secretarial work and organising its statutory filings at BRELA. 
• Advising PRNG Minerals Limited on company secretarial work and organising its statutory filings at BRELA and Tanzania Revenue Authority (TRA). 
• Advising Bechtel Limited on various aspects of Tanzanian contract and engineering law. 
• Advising EMH&T on various aspects of company formation, post formation and engineering law. 
• Advising on various company secretarial services in Tanzania.
