Maria is the main point of contact for client inquiries into the Business Registration and Licensing Agency (BRELA) and all other Tanzanian Government institutions. She is a key member of our regulatory and IP team.
Maria is a qualified practising Advocate, advising clients on a wide range of corporate and commercial matters with a focus on intellectual property, company formation, company secretarial services, and Government liaison amongst others. She has worked with Clyde & Co Tanzania since 2014. She has an LL.B from Tumaini University and a Post- Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Law School of Tanzania. She is a member of the Tanganyika Law Society and the East Africa Law Society.
