Justin Levy is coverage and litigation counsel in matters pertaining to various forms of professional liability coverage, including directors' & officers', errors & omissions, and financial services. His practice also focuses on coverage disputes relating to fidelity bonds and cyber, privacy, and media liability issues, including first-party losses arising out of dishonest acts and cyber attacks and third-party disputes arising out of violations of privacy and consumer-protection statutes. Justin has successfully defended insurers in litigation and arbitration.
Justin has additional experience representing insurers and their interests in first- and third-party claims involving other types of liability policies. These include commercial general liability, excess and umbrella, commercial auto, environmental and pollution, and homeowners.
Justin previously served as the first term law clerk for United States Magistrate Judge Zack Hawthorn in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Texas. At this position, he was responsible for civil matters that included first- and third-party insurance claims.
