Full Profile

Lucinda is a trusted advisor to clients including major Australian and London insurers and reinsurers, insurance brokers, insureds and corporations. She also has close ties to the London market.

Both local and international insurers have appointed Lucinda as their lawyer of choice to handle catastrophic claims including the seminal decision of the High Court on causation in Adeels Palace v Moubarak. The decision is the leading authority on causation across all lines of business. Lucinda focused the evidence on the issue of causation from the outset of her retainer.

As an accredited specialist in personal injury, Lucinda's experience extends to providing coverage, defence, strategic and commercial advice, and preparing and conducting criminal and civil litigation. Lucinda’s expertise extends across sexual abuse claims and matters within the disability sector.

Lucinda has significant expertise in providing advice on claims involving defective products and product recall, with a particular focus on medical device product liability and mass tort litigation. At all times, Lucinda's focus is to endeavour to resolve claims at the earliest possible time. Where claims can't be resolved, Lucinda's strategy is to ensure that the best protection is obtained.

Lucinda was recognised in Doyles Guide 2021 NSW rankings as one of only four pre-eminent lawyers in Public & Product Liability and is recommended by Legal 500 for Insurance.
