Will is an associate in the London office advising on planning and environmental law. Will joined Clyde & Co in 2016 and qualified into the planning and environment team in 2018.
Will has a broad range of expertise and acts for both private and public sector clients. He has experience in both contentious and non-contentious aspects of town and country planning and has experience in pursuing and defending high court claims and acting on behalf of clients at planning appeals, including public inquiries. Will also advises on development projects covering a range of sectors, including the residential, commercial and public sectors. Will has considerable experience in drafting and negotiating section 106 agreements and highways agreements, and regularly advises on environmental impact assessments, permitted development rights, certificates of lawfulness and enforcement matters.
Acting for Regal London in drafting and negotiating a number of section 106 agreements to secure planning permissions for large mixed-use developments across London.
Retained by a local authority to advise on a neighbourhood extension of some 4,000 new homes and drafting the associated framework section 106 agreement.
Successfully acting for Grainger at a planning inquiry arising from the London Borough of Lambeth’s non-determination of a large estate renewal development.
Acting for Dignity plc in connection with proposals for new crematoria for a number of sites in the UK (including planning appeals and claims for judicial review).
Acting for clients incorporated in the British Virgin Islands in negotiating a section 106 agreement to secure planning permission for a large mixed-use development.
Acting for developers and private clients in connection with enforcement action.
