Louisa Martindale is a partner in our Liverpool office and is the department manager for the volume motor team. Louisa is skilled in handling all aspects of motor litigation and continuously deals with personal injury claims of more than GBP 100 thousand.
She has worked closely with her clients on specific projects to improve case outcomes throughout her career. Simultaneously, she collaborates with her internal team to enhance efficiency in volume litigation work.
Louisa has specialist knowledge of the Ministry of Justice (MOJ) portal and ran Jaykishan Patel v Fortis Insurance Limited  (CC Leicester). This was the first reported case where an insurer successfully pleaded unreasonable exit to limit claimants’ costs in a Part 7 action to fixed MOJ costs.
As part of her role, she ensures consistent compliance with service-level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs). She works to maximise the department's performance while delivering consistently excellent service for key insurance clients.
Additionally, Louisa has co-edited the chapter on the MOJ process for successive editions of “Bingham and Berrymans’ Personal Injury and Motor Claims Cases”. She has also provided training internally and for clients on matters to do with the MOJ and other aspects of motor litigation.
