Maria is a Jurist in the International Arbitration and Litigation Practice based in the Paris office. Maria's practice is focused on commercial and investor-State arbitration, as well as post-award proceedings and cross-border litigation.
Prior to joining Clyde & Co, Maria acquired wide-ranging experience in international arbitration and litigation in another international law firm in Paris. Maria's arbitration practice was notably focused on ICC, ICSID, PCA and ad hoc arbitration matters, but also on setting aside and enforcement proceedings before French courts. Maria's experience in cross-border litigation includes enforcement of foreign judgments and obtaining conservatory measures in the framework of foreign judicial proceedings.
Maria obtained an LL.M. in Transnational Arbitration and Dispute Settlement from the Paris Institute of Political Studies (Sciences Po) in 2019. Before coming to France, she received a Bachelor's degree in International Law (2016) and a Master's degree in International Financial Law (2018) from the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO). In 2018, Maria worked as tax consultant in an international accounting and consulting firm.
