Natasha is an associate in the Aviation Finance department in our London office since September 2018.
Natasha's principal areas of practice include acting for commercial airlines on loan and lease financings, including AFIC and Balthazar supported loans, operating leases, and restructurings across several jurisdictions. She has also gained significant experience working on business jet aircraft financings and sale and purchase transactions, acting for clients including a major international private wealth bank, private individuals and corporate entities.
Natasha joined Clyde & Co in 2015 as a paralegal in the Aviation Finance department in the Dubai office and completed her training contract in 2018. She graduated with a degree in law from Queen Mary, University of London.
Commercial Aircraft Experience includes:
Acting for Air Baltic on multiple deliveries of Airbus A220-300 (formerly known as the C Series 300) aircraft with PW1521G engines involving various financiers, including advising on the sale and leaseback of five (5) aircraft and financed by Chorus Aviation Capital, four (4) aircraft financed by Avation Plc and two (2) aircraft by FPG Amentum Limited.
Advising Royal Air Maroc on an AFIC supported French tax lease financing of two (2) Boeing 787-9 aircraft.
Advising Turkish Airlines Inc. on the first Balthazar French tax lease financing for five (5) Airbus A321-271NX aircraft.
Advising Turkish Airlines Inc. on an AFIC supported Italian tax lease financing for one (1) Boeing 777-FF2 freighter aircraft.
Acting Turkish Airlines Inc. on a financing arranged by a French bank with an AFIC covered loan co-arranged by French, Japanese and Korean financiers relating to three (3) Boeing model 787-9 aircraft.
Acting for Wizz Air Hungary Ltd. on French tax lease financing in connection with three (3) Airbus A320NEO aircraft.
Advising Wizz Air UK, in connection with the novation of a lease between Wizz Air UK and SDH Wings to its parent company, Wizz Air Hungary and to effect the re-registration of one (1) Airbus A320 aircraft in Hungary.
Business Jets Experience includes:
Advising a major international private wealth bank on several business jet financings for several years, including advising on changes of operator and state of registrations.
Acting for a private buyer in relation to the sale and purchase of one (1) Embraer Legacy 500 aircraft and assisting with the de-registration from the UK Civil Aviation register and the re-registration in the USA under the N register.
Assisting West Yorkshire Police and advising on its termination and re-delivery rights with respect to leasing arrangements in connection with one (1) Airbus Helicopter H135 (formerly Eurocopter EC135).
