Sophia is a Senior Associate in the Casualty & Healthcare team. She is based in our Manchester office and has over 8 years' experience in dealing with personal injury claims. She currently handles cases with a value ranging from £100,000 to £500,000 and assists on the most significant multi-million-pound claims. She advises in relation to policy, liability and quantum.  

Sophia has expertise in a variety of injury types including brain injuries, spinal injuries, amputations and chronic pain. She also advises in relation to fatal accidents.

She also regularly acts in multi-party complex actions and uses a collaborative approach to secure excellent outcomes for her clients.

Experience

• Secured an excellent settlement on behalf of a major Insurer in relation to a complex 95% burns claim for a female in her early 20s where the Schedule of Loss was in excess of £7,500,000 and there were over 20 experts involved.
• Successfully achieved discontinuance in a public liability claim where the Claimant allegedly suffered a brain injury following a fall from height.
• Acted on behalf of a major Insurer in relation to a claim involving a female in her early 30’s who was rendered quadriplegic, securing a settlement of £16,250,000 against a Schedule of Loss of £27,000,000.
