Máire is dual-qualified in England & Wales and the Republic of Ireland.

A native Dubliner, she has been a legal director in Clyde & Co's Irish practice since joining in 2014, with a broad
range of prior experience in the national and international transport and logistics sector.

Máire’s role in the Irish practice focuses on Irish law professional indemnity, EL, PL and product liability, as well
as construction, latent defects, A&H and bloodstock covers.

She has a particular expertise in medical device product liability.

She also continues to act on behalf of carriers' liability insurers in respect of the international and domestic carriage of goods, as well as for forwarders, logistics companies, warehouse keepers, importers and exporters.

  • Advising in relation to the design, fabrication, installation, commissioning of local control systems in pump stations in relation to the Caspian Pipeline
  • Advising in relation to the installation of support / protection of subsea pipelines in Sakhalin, Russia
  • Advising on the offshore construction of pipeline in the Black Sea with pull-in onshore through HDD
  • Advising insurers in relation to a capsize of rig during towage
  • Advising Sochi in relation to the interior design of a speed skating rink for the winter Olympics
  • Advising reinsurers on the seizure of aircraft by Russian Customs Services
