Kevin advises clients on a wide range of corporate and commercial matters with a particular focus on mergers and acquisitions (M&A), employment, intellectual property, data protection, and financings. Kevin has experience advising on matters across sub-Saharan Africa including in Kenya, Tanzania, Nigeria, Rwanda, and Uganda.

Kevin is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya.

Experience
  • Advising a major DFI with respect to its investment of USD 500,000 in a major educational institution in Nairobi.
  • Advising private equity firm, Adenia Partners on its 100 per cent acquisition of Africa Biosystems Limited (ABL), a leading distributor of life sciences and clinical diagnostics equipment in East Africa. Clyde & Co acted as both international (English law) and local counsel (Kenya and Tanzania) to Adenia on various aspects of this multi-jurisdictional deal, including drafting and negotiating the key English law transaction documents and obtaining all necessary regulatory approvals in Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda.
  • Advising Chandaria Capital LLP on various venture capital share acquisitions in East Africa and Europe.
  • Advising numerous clients on their obligations under contracts of employment and contracts for employment.
  • Advising on the advancement of USD 1 million for green investments of a US-based investment banker.
  • Advising on the registration of several intellectual property rights on behalf of numerous clients in and outside Nairobi.
  • Advising an international organisation with offices in the US, Europe and Africa with respect to a cyberattack on its IT Systems.
