Alexandra Pearson is an Associate in the Catastrophic Injury and Large Loss team in the Manchester office. Alex has over 12 years of experience working on Defendant personal injury claims at various levels and now specialises in international travel claims.

Alex has experience dealing with a variety of claims including, brain injuries, significant spinal injuries and fatal accidents.

Experience

• Successfully defended an additional claim brought by a tour operator against the hotel by successfully arguing a lack of contractual indemnity, saving the client a substantial amount of money, and recovering significant costs. 
• Helped the client save over €8 million for a claim which involved a significant spinal injury from an accident on a water slide.
• Assisted with a complex multi-party claim involving a sensitive child brain injury claim. The team effectively negotiated a reduced settlement for the client and was able to reduce their overall liability. 
• Assisted in achieving a settlement representing an 83% reduction against the insurer client reserve on a Spanish RTA accident that resulted in the Claimant suffering a brain injury.
