Ben's work is mainly focused in the resources field, having acted on disputes involving mining, and oil & gas infrastructure. He is an active member of the Society of Construction Law Australia (SoCLA).
Ben grew up in Perth, Western Australia, and has also lived and worked throughout Australia (in Canberra, Perth and Darwin), in France, Switzerland, Jordan and Oman.
Although he qualified to practise law in 2013, Ben started his career in human rights advocacy performing both field work and office functions.
Ben has appeared before Australian Parliamentary Inquiries, and has experience working with the Australian Human Rights Commission, UN Human Rights Council, and UN Special Procedures Mandate Holders. He continues to nurture his passion for social justice and human rights as the coordinator of pro bono efforts for Western Australia at Clyde & Co, and is actively involved in a number of civil society non-government organisations.
Ben has been a practising lawyer based in Western Australia since 2016.
