Michael has advised many organisations responding to historical child sexual abuse allegations, including the public sector, faith, education, and sports.
Several religious organisations instruct him, local authorities and insurers to deal with their most sensitive claims. He has represented clients in the Independent Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse (IICSA) and has advised on various IICSA-related matters.
Michael is a member of The Law Society (TLS). He was the editor-in-chief of the 10th, 11th and 12th editions of “Bingham & Berryman’s Motor Claims Cases”. He regularly speaks at and chairs personal injury and abuse conferences.
