Joshua (Josh) Reece is a member of the firm’s insurance disputes practice, with a focus on products liability exposure, complex commercial, and catastrophic injury litigation.
Before joining Clyde & Co, he garnered over a decade of experience litigating complex commercial, lawyers’ (including IP, corporate dispute and transactions, real estate, matrimonial, and trusts and estates) and accountants’ professional liability, and high-exposure healthcare claims in both state and federal courts. He has represented insurance companies in coverage disputes in arbitration and New York courts. In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, Josh also defended healthcare institutions, litigating liability shields (including the federal PREP Act) at the federal trial and appellate level nationwide. Utilizing this experience, he has counselled institutional clients on emerging trends in risk mitigation.
Prior to practicing law, Josh was a classical pianist, earning Third Prize in the 2003 Zimmerli International Piano Competition.
