Cecily is a Legal Director in the London office, specialising in the aviation and commercial real estate sectors.
Prior to joining Clyde & Co, Cecily trained and qualified with REN Legal and was promoted to Senior Associate in 2020. Cecily’s client base is wide and varied, encompassing examples of all stakeholders in the aviation finance and leasing business, advising on a broad variety of financing, leasing and trading transactions.
Cecily also has experience on a range of corporate and commercial real estate matters, including advising clients in connection with investment and joint venture arrangements, asset acquisitions and disposals and asset management arrangements in the commercial real estate sector.
In the past 18 months, Cecily has advised on a wide range of deferral, restructuring and settlement agreements in respect of aircraft and engine leases, ranging from simple lender consents to full lease amendment and restatements in which rent owing is rescheduled into multiple phases including rental holidays and power by the hour periods.
Cecily graduated from Durham University with a BA (honours) degree in Ancient History and was admitted as a solicitor in England and Wales in 2017.
