Jorge Soto is an associate in the tax department of our Chilean office, since 2018.
As a member of the tax department of the Firm, his practice is focused on matters of tax compliance and tax planning, merger and acquisitions and advising companies on different matters of corporate and tax law. He also provides advice in matters of personal tax, inheritance and gift tax and international taxation.
Prior to his work as an associate at Clyde & Co, Jorge worked as a tax paralegal at Grasty Quintana Majlis and as an economic criminal law paralegal at Balmaceda Cox y Piña (BCP).
Since 2022, he’s studying at the Adolfo Ibañez University for a Master’s Degree in Tax Direction and Management, deepening his knowledge on the theoretical and practical aspects of Tax Law.
