Loïc’s practice focuses on international arbitration and cross-border litigation.
He advises and represents clients in commercial and investment arbitration proceedings under the rules of leading arbitral institutions (including the ICC, UNCITRAL and ICSID), and in ad hoc arbitrations. His experience spans a wide range of industries such as mining, construction, energy, telecommunications and defence, and includes acting for sovereign States, State-owned entities and private companies.
Prior to joining Clyde & Co, Loïc developed robust arbitration and litigation experience within leading French and international law firms in Paris.
He also regularly acts in commercial litigation before the French courts, with a particular focus on private international law issues and complex industrial disputes. In addition, he is involved in post-award proceedings, including annulment and enforcement proceedings before the French courts.
Loïc was admitted to the Paris Bar in 2021. He holds an LL.M. in International Law from Paris Descartes University and a Master’s degree in Private International Law and International Commercial Law from Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne University.

Experience
- Representing a Congolese company in an ICC arbitration arising out of the purchase of shares in a company engaged in mining exploration in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
- Representing an Eastern European State in the annulment proceedings of an arbitral award before the Paris Court of Appeal.
- Representing a Malaysian company in enforcement proceedings against a West Asian State
- Representing the insurer of a French defense contractor in an ad hoc arbitration against a West African State relating to a contract for the supply and installation of coastal surveillance radars and subsequent enforcement proceedings.
- Representing a consortium of Chinese companies in enforcement proceedings against a West African State and successfully attached aircrafts.
- Representing over 1,200 Nicaraguan nationals before the Paris Court of Appeal in exequatur proceedings regarding a judgment rendered by a Central American Court.
- Representing an American company specializing in the design, construction and marketing of gas meters, in a dispute before a French commercial court concerning the supply of defective batteries by its supplier.
