Meredith Werner represents insurers in complex disputes arising under directors and officers and other professional liability policies. She has represented insurers in connection with hundreds of securities class actions, derivative actions, merger lawsuits and ERISA stock drop suits. Meredith frequently represents insurers in the mediation of their highest profile and most significant matters. She also represents insurers in matters involving employment discrimination, antitrust, healthcare, criminal and regulatory investigations and provides counsel regarding bankruptcy and insolvency issues arising in the insurance context. Meredith litigates coverage and other disputes in federal and state courts throughout the country, at both the trial and appellate level. Meredith was elected to the prestigious American College of Coverage Counsel in 2022. She has handled matters pending before courts sitting in the District of Columbia, Delaware, North Carolina, Florida, Alabama and Illinois.
