Rachel Werner concentrates her practice in health care law, particularly, in the areas of medical malpractice, professional liability, wrongful death, personal injury, long-term care facility defense, regulatory compliance, and risk management. She built a solid foundation for her medical legal practice working at the American Osteopathic Association as a Legislative Consultant and by earning a Health Law Certificate from DePaul University College of Law.
With a passion for defending those that serve others, she regularly defends health care providers of all specialties, including hospitals, physicians, physician practices, nurses, dentists, advanced practice providers, long-term care facilities, psychologists, and other allied health professionals in all aspects of medical professional liability actions, both in litigation and before their respective licensing boards.
Rachel also has substantial litigation experience defending tort, contract, residential real estate, product defect, and toxic tort matters in both state and federal courts.
