Roger is a litigator with an interest in commercial, civil and insurance disputes, employment litigation, and privacy matters. He was admitted to the Alberta bar in 2020 and has since represented clients before the Provincial Court and the Court of King’s Bench of Alberta.
Roger completed his legal education at the University of Calgary in 2019. Prior to joining Clyde & Co, he worked at one of the biggest labour and employment law firms in Canada, where he engaged in wrongful dismissal litigation as well as in matters pertaining to human rights and human resources. Roger focuses on finding practical solutions that address his clients’ needs and goals while minimizing the time, cost, and disruption associated with legal disputes.
Fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese, Roger is currently a member of the Federation of Asian Canadian Lawyers and is a former Vice-president of the University of Calgary’s Diversity in Law Society. Actively involved in the legal community, he volunteers for organizations such as Calgary Legal Guidance and Diversecities, in addition to being a passionate basketball fan and an avid chess player.
