Amalia is a qualified practising Advocate in Tanzania with six years’ experience in dealing with complex commercial matters, including but not limited to mining, mergers and acquisition, oil and gas. She has an LLB and LLM from the University of Dar es Salaam and she also registered as an arbitrator by the Tanzania Institute of Arbitrators. She is also trained in Corporate, Commercial, Land and Intellectual Property Law. Having consulted for some of the leading banks, mining, oil and gas and companies in various commercial matters, Amalia brings great commercial sense into any legal transaction. She was also seconded to work in one of the international law firms in London. During the secondment in the London law firm, she was involved in a number of international transactions particularly in relation to arbitration, mining and capital markets and securities.
