Andrew graduated from the University of Wales Swansea in 2006, where he studied law, before going on to complete the LPC in Nottingham in 2007. Andrew trained in London and has been working in the Insolvency sector since qualifying as a solicitor in 2011. Andrew is currently an associate in the Insolvency & Reorganisation department at Clyde & Co LLP and has a wealth of experience in contentious and non-contentious cases.
Andrew acts for insolvency practitioners, financiers, creditors, suppliers, directors, debtors and bankrupts, providing a broad range of services within the insolvency sector. Andrew has substantial experience in acting for various parties in relation to: administrations, liquidations, bankruptcies, distressed sales (acting for both purchaser and vendor), repossession and sale matters, as well as pursuing actions against delinquent directors for the return of company monies and/or assets, or alternatively for contributions towards the company's assets.
Andrew has also been involved in several complex recovery matters involving tax avoidance schemes, which have lead to recoveries for the relevant insolvent estates and ultimately HMRC.
