Chander has significant experience in resolving disputes within the betting and gaming sector and has acted for leading gambling operators across a broad range of contentious matters. These have involved regulatory disputes (both domestic and international), licensing matters and general commercial disputes within a betting and gaming context.
Chander specialises in civil fraud litigation. He regularly advises on fraud investigation and asset recovery matters including through the use of search, freezing and disclosure orders and also via the criminal confiscation regime where appropriate. He has acted on a broad range of cases involving multinationals, banking institutions, public bodies and charities, a number of which have attracted significant media scrutiny.
Chander is part of Clyde & Co's UK cyber team and advises both corporate entities and insurers on cyber risk matters.
He is also experienced in acting for insurers on complex subrogated recoveries arising out of property damage, product liability and fraud.
