Eric's experience concentrates on the energy sector, for domestic and international clients with operations across the globe. He has advised project companies, developers, sponsors and governments on infrastructure projects and matters ranging from construction and development to project finance and dispute resolution. Eric also has strong experience in International Arbitration, and has advised and represented parties on disputes subject to ICC, ICSID, SIAC and AAA jurisdiction.
While working with clients across the globe, Eric has particular professional interests and expertise in the Mediterranean, Middle East and Africa, and is an active participant in a number of region-specific organisations. He is a member of the EU-Jordan, MENA Energy / Infrastructure and Iraqi infrastructure finance OECD task forces; serves as Rapporteur of the legal working group set up by the EU Commission, the World Bank and the OECD on investment protection in the Med region; is a member of the ISMED program working group; and is a cofounder and Vice Chair of the Euro-Med think tank IPEMED.
Eric is a graduate of the Ecoles des Hautes Etudes Commerciales, and holds a further degree from the Paris Institute of Political Sciences. He speaks fluent French, English, Italian and Macedonian, and has a working knowledge of German, Russian, Spanish, Serbo-Croatian and Bulgarian.
