Geoff has advised a range of clients on contentious and non-contentious aspects of construction law in respect of major infrastructure and real estate projects. He has acted on projects based in the UAE, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, New Zealand and Australia.
His experience includes advising on project procurement options including build only, D&C and EPC contracts and advising on drafting of bespoke and standard form construction contracts (including FIDIC, NEC and NZS).
Geoff has experience in a wide range of construction-related claims, including extensions of time, delay and variation claims. He has represented claimants and defendants in a range of dispute resolution processes including adjudication, international and domestic arbitration in the Middle East, and local court proceedings.
Geoff qualified as a barrister and solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand in 2010.
He is a member of the Society of Construction Law (Gulf).
