Irene Ribeiro Gee is a New York based, dual-qualified US and Brazilian lawyer, who focuses her practice on trial and dispute resolution. Irene's litigation practice covers commercial litigation, and domestic and international dispute resolution in a broad range of topics, including contracts, oil and gas, corporate governance matters, fraud, joint ventures, construction disputes, international investment claims, among others.

In addition to her dispute resolution practice, Irene routinely counsels clients from Brazil and other Latin American countries in their operations in the United States.

Prior to moving to the United States, Irene practiced law in Brazil in a law firm specializing in entertainment law and foreign investment. Irene was also a law clerk with the Brazilian Federal Tax Agency and a legal intern with General Electric.

Her civil law background, combined with more than a decade of practicing law in New York permits Irene to provide accurate and culturally-relevant advice on cross-border litigation and arbitration.  While in Brazil, Irene competitively rowed as a bow in double and quad sculls.
