Julien is an attorney of the global Energy, Projects & Construction group in Clyde & Co's Paris office. Julien has a broad experience in regulatory, public law and environmental matters. Julien’s practice covers administrative law, public law contracts, procurement rules, administrative courts litigation, in relation to regulated sectors, in particular telecoms, infrastructure, rail, energy with a focus on renewable energy.  In this sector, Julien regularly advises French and international companies on project development issues, including notably environmental and construction aspects but also project development contracts, early development oversight, power purchase agreements, EPC/O&M and grid connection agreements. He also specialises on energy and infrastructure project development, financing and acquisition in Europe and Africa.

Over the past few years, Julien has been very active in the renewable energy sector, encompassing wind energy projects in Europe, ground or roof mounted photovoltaic projects and more generally in clean energy projects in Europe and Africa. He has also often assisted clients in connection with electricity and natural gas transmission and distribution assets in Europe for their financing and construction.

He has advised lenders, sponsors and private developers in connection with energy and infrastructure projects in Europe and Africa.

Prior to joining Clyde & Co in 2014, Julien was an associate at Watson, Farley & Williams in Paris since 2011.

Julien is a member of the French association for Energy Law (AFDEN) and of the French renewable energy industrial association (Syndicat des Energies Renouvelables - SER).
