As a part of Clyde & Co’s Corporate Insurance team, she has a particular focus on advising clients in all kinds of insurance regulatory and insurance intermediation law matters as well as assisting clients in dealing with the challenges of digitisation. In that regard, she supports InsurLab Germany e.V., a platform to connect the insurance and InsurTech world in the course of the firms membership.

Kathrin regularly advises clients e.g. in relation to setting up distribution structures, general compliance questions, including insurance anti-trust law advice, and specifics of German insurance supervisory law. On a regular basis, she does so in international projects, coordinating obtaining advice for clients from various jurisdictions.

Kathrin frequently advises on product development, for example with regard to cyber insurance products, where she advises clients also in relation to setting up structures to offer cyber insurance, including e.g. response networks.

Admitted to the Dusseldorf chamber of lawyers, Kathrin is admitted to practice in Germany. Previously, she, inter alia, worked with the German Federal Financial Supervisory Authority.
