Kristyn has experience advising on residential, commercial, and infrastructure developments, across a range of sectors including energy, housing, transport, construction, and retail. She regularly advises on issues including planning, development appeals, European and Aboriginal heritage, biodiversity, waste, contamination, pollution, licencing, and compulsory acquisition. Kristyn acts for clients on both contentious and non-contentious matters concerning the use and development of land under relevant state and Commonwealth environment and planning legislation.

Kristyn's practice also includes advising on compliance issues, including responding to notices from the EPA and other environmental regulators, and acting in prosecutions for environment and planning offences.

Kristyn has a commercial and practical approach to advising clients, assisting them to implement strategy on risk and compliance issues, as well as manage regulators and other stakeholders.

Kristyn is a member of many industry bodies, including the Environmental Planning Law Association, Australian Sustainable Business Group, Young Lawyers Environment and Planning Committee and the Professional Environmental Women's Association.
