Kyle has experience in a broad range of commercial, insurance, and environmental disputes. He has acted on behalf of a range of businesses in a variety of sectors. Kyle has a particular interest in alternative dispute resolution and has represented clients before domestic and international arbitral tribunals. He has appeared before all levels of court in Ontario as well as a variety of administrative bodies. He also has experience defending individuals and companies charged with criminal and environmental offences.
Kyle's approach to dispute resolution is informed by the true objectives of his clients. He recognizes that legal and business solutions, while related, are not always synonymous. He strives to provide practical and concise advice to assist his clients in efficiently achieving their objectives.
Kyle was called to the Ontario Bar in 2009 and obtained his JD from Queen's University. Prior to joining Clyde & Co. in early 2016, Kyle was a litigator at a major national firm. Kyle enjoys mentoring and coaching younger advocates and is a member of The Advocates Society and the Toronto Commercial Arbitration Society.
