Mark has a wealth of experience in the energy field acting for exploration companies, rig, platform and vessel owners and their clubs/insurers, and for other offshore contractors – including specialists in the fields of subsea & well construction, well services, pipe & cable lay, and seismic.

He has acted in a wide range of matters and disputes before the courts, in arbitration proceedings (including ICC, LCIA, UNCITRAL and LMAA), and in mediations.

Mark joined Clyde & Co in 2008 after 11 years at the Bar of England & Wales. He has advised parties and appeared as their advocate in disputes at all levels up to and including the Court of Appeal. He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. Before studying law as a postgraduate, Mark studied engineering at Cambridge University.
