Mary Anne handles complex EPC construction and engineering disputes in the UK and internationally, particularly in the energy, power and infrastructure sectors.

Her extensive experience includes litigation, arbitration (international and domestic) and adjudication; expert determination; and alternative dispute resolution procedures such as early neutral evaluation and mediation.  She also works alongside clients to help them during the delivery phase of their projects so that disputes are avoided where possible and successfully managed when they do arise. She has knowledge of all of the key standard forms such as FIDIC, NEC, IChemE, JCT and MF/1 as well as bespoke agreements.

Mary Anne acts for asset owners/developers, consultants and contractors throughout the supply chain on projects in Europe, the Middle East and Asia Pacific. She won scholarships to Oxford University and to Geneva University; has worked in both the UK and France; and speaks English, French, German and Spanish.

She is included in the global Acritas Stars database as a stand-out lawyer.  In 2015 she won the construction law category at the European Women in Construction and Engineering awards. She has been ranked for many years in Chambers and Legal 500 as a Leading Individual and is described as "very experienced and strategic" and "very pragmatic, proactive, clear, transparent in her advice - everything in-house counsel is looking for in a provider".
