As a general commercial litigator, Michael has significant experience in many aspects of insurance and international trade including regulatory issues and investigations by government authorities, and the various issues arising out of the logistics industry. He has also been retained by several major trade bodies in these areas.

Michael has acted on matters arising from the movement of goods and funds throughout the world including disputes encountered by or with freight forwarders and also with the various customs authorities and Government Ministries. Michael has represented clients in relation to disputes with various Government Agencies regarding food health matters, GATT licences and export subsidies/import duties. He has been involved with judicial reviews as well as a wide range of commercial litigation, including employment matters, search and seizure orders, insolvency and commercial agency disputes.
